I have waited years to review this book: I bought it five years ago with "The Power of Ten" when I was a professional Pilates instructor. At the time, I was 33, and working as a Pilates teacher in the busiest Pilates studio in the city--of which I was the owner. I did this program for three months without following the dietary recommendations other than cutting out bread and pasta. Clients who hadn't seen me in a few months looked dumbstruck when they saw me: "WHAT are you doing? Your hips are gone!" Some people are ...more

IF you follow the recommendations and stick to it you will be getting a lot of bang and not have to spend hours of your time each week trying to get it. The ...more

My background: I lost a significant amount of weight (about 50 pounds) a few years back and have always struggled with that last 15-20 pounds that would really make me look great. I knew that Jillian understood how hard it is for people to lose that last bit of fat; I also knew that doing the same workout routine over and over wasn't going to cut it. The Rider's Fitness Program
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-09-30 Summary: Riders Fitness Program ... This is an interesting book with loads of excersizes but a bit too many gadgets are involved. In order to follow the program it means buying alot of equipment if you do not have a well stocked gym at your home. Take this into consideration when purchasing the book.
